Would anyone like to share their experience with the Aerial Airborne Tower?

I've found a fair deal on a package including the twin speakers & two racks.

I am about to pull the trigger on purchasing for my 1994 Baja 170 Islander with Mercury 125 OB.

My concerns are the flat mounting feet & the overall stability of the tower.

I like the dual cross bars at the top, which I've been told will make the tower much more stable than the single cross bar aerial assault tower.

my buddy has the assault tower on his boat and is very happy with it. I have been tower hunting for the last 7 months and after seeing how well his works last summer I think I am going to get the assault also.

Mate just fitted the airbourne to our boat and love it. Very stable, hardly any movement, looks great and was very easy to fit. Great price too. We fitted it to a 2005 model Searay 185.

I've been looking to get this tower for my boat as well. The double cross bars will offer extra stability and I like the single lateral bars on each side that the upper portion of the tower attach to. I feel this too will offer extra stability versus a leg going all the way up to the top.

How is the mounting on this tower? Is it 4 bolts per foot or one? I have not drilled any holes in my boat at this point and that scares me!!

I just pulled the trigger on this one. It comes with 2 sets of twin speakers, Polk db 651's which are rated as some very good horns. From what I have seen the tower is great, just the install I am worried about.

What boat are you putting it on? Post some pics when you get it on and let us know how the install goes.

I'm 99% sure it only has 1 bolt per foot.

Which rack setup do you go with? I like the package with one wakeboard rack & one wake/knee combo rack.

I have the assualt sitting in my garage waiting for some warmer weather. Its one beefy bolt per foot, with a thick round washer of the same diameter of the foot that goes on the outside of the boat. It also comes with a stiff rubber washer that goes between the outside foot and the boat to help with any curvature.

Personally, I cut templates out of cardboard and am getting some wood to make backing plates for the inside of my boat, and will use a marine sealer to glue these to the fiberglass.

All the mounting hardware looks to be high quality and beefy.

Re: Aerial Airborne Wakeboard Tower

I just installed one on my 02 bayliner 21'. It seems to be a pretty good tower fairly easy to install with help from a friend or two. It does have the 1 bolt mounts but they seem pretty good. The wiring kit for the speaker/lightbar combo is not my favorite but I used it anyway. I wish it came with some kind of quick disconnect for going thru the hull but it doesnt. The directions show what tools you need but I found they left a few tools out such as what size drill bits. I am overall satisfied with it and when the water warms up some more I will let yall know more of my opinion on it. It made my boat look like a different boat.

Dusty what model Bayliner is that? I have a 2006 Bayliner 195 BR, and I have been wondering about where the mounting locations would be, but looking at yours pretty much answers my question!

It's a 2002 Bayliner 215 I believe. I think it turned out well and I think h2osportswarehouse has them on sale.
