after market fin extenions for stern drive

I beleive there called fin extentions, I have a 20ft bow rider with a 140 mercruiser runs great, with 3 people on board and a lot gear I can get to 39 mph. How would these extensions make a difference, speed, stability? Any input would be great. thanks

I think you should read this post and then ask HWSIII in the prop forum to help you out, a lot of people just dont have the right prop configuration setup for their boat.

That's about right for a boat of that size and power.

If you are asking what will a fin do? Well...... not much if it is not needed so save your money

thank you for your input,wasnt sure about the top speed,I figured 45 or better,doesnt really matter. Hard to catch a fish at 39 mhp.

You may be able to get the skinny fast ones... but the fat ones cant go that fast.....
