We have a 2006 Regal 2400 and thinking of mounting a wakeboard tower. Any suggestions on brands for this boat? Are there some that will still allow the use of the bimini top?

Not sure where to look.

i would start with a google search or a call to Regal to see what their customer service department suggests.

If your original bimini will not work there are relatively inexpensive (compared to the tower) ones made to be mounted to towers BUT I would caution against installing a tower that does not compliment the lines of the boat. Nothing worse than an aesthetically unpleasing combination. You have too nice a boat to make ugly.

thank you for the info. I agree I do not want to do anything that will not look good. Have not been able to see any examples online of towers mounted to the 2400 and am concerned.

thanks again.

That's a sweet tower. I'm thinking on putting one on my 210 chris craft. Bolting it to the gunwale. You can pull tubes with them right?

You could pull a tube but you don't want to. Most if not all manufacturers of towers instruct you not to pull tubes. An empty tube that happens to submerge at the wrong time is like a big anchor. With the added leverage of the tower it could pull the boat over sideways.

I'm glad for the tower company links. I've been thinking of adding a tower to my boat, mostly for kneeboard towing.
