Age of Alum. Starcraft Jupiter

Is there any way I can get a handle on the age of my old boat? I've read on this site that the last numbers in the serial # indicate year of production...........but my serial # is 62-13914. '62 would sound reasonable to me, but its on the wrong end of the serial#. Any help from forum members would be appreciated !! <br /><br />Ken

It Probably Is a 1962.........<br /><br />The Standardization,..... Or Even the Requirement that there Must be a #,.... Didn't happen til the early 70s...............
