Does anyone know the type and year of these engines. (Or a web address where I can look it up?)<br />PORT ENG: G03014951 <br />STBD: G03076183<br />Both are 150 hp Evinrudes I believe they are 1991 but not sure, <br /><br />Thanks<br />Mike

Those are serial numbers Michael. We would need the Model numbers to help you out. Something like:<br /><br />E150ESL

I bought the boat and found the engines are Model E150NX claim to be 1992 engines.<br />Are Evinrude Shop Manuals available for these older engines?<br />Thanks,<br />Mike

The model number should be something like 150TXIN or 150TLIN.

Thats what I get for trying to read someone elses writing.<br />The sticker on the motor reads, E150NXENC<br />The second sticker is mostly unreadable but it starts with E150EXEM....<br />Thanks for your help<br /><br />Mike

Rick,<br />Thanks for the explaination of the engine code.<br />So it appears that they are one year newer than I thought, :) , I think these are "loop charged" what are called "loopers" what exactly does this mean? I was told to just run a line from the gas dock to the boat because they drink gas??? Can anything be done?<br /><br />thanks everyone, <br /><br />Mike

only thing I can see is X usually means extra long shaft 25" L means long shaft at 20 "
