Boom, that was the very problem my employer has. Being a small business with only a few employees, it just isn't feasible. I wanted to participate in a 401K, but any other people we hired were too short sighted for that sort of thing. They just wanted their beer money.

Ive worked for the same company for 25 years now. Im on the 3rd owner since I started and this time the owner is...us. The last owner retired and sold the company to us, the employees. What amazes and yes even stuns me is how many of my co-workers/co-owners are totally clueless what a sweet deal this is. Even in just the first 5 years when were paying a huge amount towards the loan Im still getting an average of over $500 per/month in totally free company stock. And so many of my co-workers are absolutely clueless how cool this is. Incidentally our company is over 120 years old and quite conservative.

i only wish that we as a country, don't turn the war in iraq into another vietnam, by the public here at home.

just keep on supporting our currently elected administration until its time to vote. then the badmouthers can make a vote, and hopefully avoid destroying the opinion our soldiers in harms way have to live with...

just my 2c
