Re: Ahmadinejad Speaks clearly
Hey Cymers, (Chris), here are three articles to ponder. None of them is exactly on point with our debate, but these Authors have some profound thoughts to ponder that do bracket what both you and I have been stating.
#1 John Dillin; Managing Editor: Christian Science Monitor; 4/12/2007
Article: "America, Iraq, and the question of total war"

#2 Victor Davis Hanson; National Review Online; 4/13/2007
Article: "The Post-west
A civilization that has become just a dream."

#3 Johnathan Rauch; National Journal; 4/13/2007
Article "Learning From Ike"

Hope these work. Bottom line. America and Britian must decide whether too back down to Persia, as the world has done since 1979, (other then Ronald Reagan sinking their entire navy), which will mean living with a nuclear Iran. I feel history shows that we will have to deal with Iran when they demand too much of our freedom. If they possess nuclear weapons the WAR at that point will be very unfortunate. Maybe they will go the route of China, and become more responsible. China has a "Sino centric history" where Persia does not. Islam is the wild card. Islam, (submission), seeks to dominate the entire world and that is the risk. Surrender or Stand our ground. The stakes could not be higher: IMHO. Respectfully, JR ps the VDH article did not linc. You can read it by going to the "Realclearpolitics.com" site sorry about that.
