Air Compressor issues

This is almost identical to the one we got used from where my wife worked for $100.00, the unit would not build up pressure or very little.
We got it home and the air filter and the whole housing was plugged up with fine sawdust from the planer room where it was kept as well the tank was 2/3 full of water.
Cleaned it up and it runs like a top, sometimes it is the little things people overlook that make for great deals.

I would say that was a very good purchase. I am looking, but until I can pour a concrete slab and dry it in, a nice big new unit is on hold. I did clean up my air filter in the inlet and the water trap as well. Then I took the filters apart and really cleaned them. They had some ugly crap lining the clear bowls that I just had to clean out. So I will coax mine a little longer while I plan of the concrete slab project.
