Air Conditioning Seacock

I wasn't sure which topic to post this under but here goes...

I am installing a new heat/air unit. It will require a seacock for the water input. Would it be possible to avoid drilling another hole in the hull and just install a "T" fitting on the seacock water input line that goes to my head.

I am thinking no that it will not work, but I am not sure.....
