Air fuel mix adjusting screw

I have a 1993 Evinrude 150 ocean pro, and it does not appear that my throttle bodies have idle mixture screws. Anyone able to speak to this? Carbs were rebuilt with new kits and cleaned and blown out. throttle bodies cleaned as well, but I do not see the mixture screws that ive seen on other ocean pro 150s.

it has idle misture screws.... on the left side of the plastic carb body is an opening.... look through that opening and see the idle mixture screw back on the throttle body manifold... yours is probably a slotted head screw on the post 96 versions i think it is an allen wrench socket head screw

My 94 175 Johnson had mixture screws but I think the 93's used air bleed orifices for idle mixture.

Are the air bleed orifices adjustable? I am just curious if I need to be adjusting my fuel mix for best running performance

sorry about that, it looks like you are correct the 93s dont show the needle and spring

The orifices aren't adjustable but the Evinrude site shows a few different sizes available. Unless you always use your boat at high elevation lakes I would think you're probably best off sticking with what the motor came with.

I mainly use it at sea level on the bays and ocean, so ill stick with the orifices I have. thanks for the insight
