air valve on 1996 Johnson 25 Hp?

Hello,<br />please excuse my mechanical ignorance - but what is the air valve for (like a car tyre valve) near the carb on the Johnson 25 2 stroke. I assume it is for blowing out the carby. Are there any things to beware of in doing this.. Thanks

Thats where you blow in air to pump it up to a 35 hp.<br /><br />Kidding!! Couldnt help myself. Seriously, thats where you inject the decarb solution. <br /><br />I wouldnt try blowing air in there. I dont know exactly what would happen but you wont get 35 hp out of it.<br /><br />Good luck!!
