I have a 2155 bayliner that sleep 4. My wife is scared to sleep on it because of someone getting abroad at night. So I have old viper car alarm. I'm just going to hook up a radar sensor. I had a jeep yj soft top I could have got this sensor. So if someone puts there hand in the cab it would go off. I think if I put it in the open area in the aft it should work what do you think? Thanks Bob

Re: Alarm on a boat

If you get a few false alarms you may find out how friendly or unfriendly your fellow dockmates are (assuming at the marina and not out on the hook) If you have carpet in aft cockpit you may want to consider a pressure switch that just slides under the carpet.
