Hey guys, I have an alarm going off and I am so new to all this I am not sure why. All of my gauges look fine and I thought it was because I had a low battery. I checked the batteries and both are showing 12.5 volts.

The alarm sounds when I am at no wake speeds after apprx 1 minute. If i throttle up and get moving it shuts off and stays off until i slow down again. Any ideas? 350 Mag MPI 98' model

Any chance your engine is running hot at that lower speed?
Engine oil level/pressure ok?

My alarm (alpha I gen II) can sound for excessive engine temperature, inadequate oil pressure, or too low of lower unit lube.

Do you have a card, sticker or manual for your boat to tell what may set off your alarm?

Thanks for the help, After your post I went back and noticed that the outdrive reservoir was almost empty. The can was soaked on the outside, something I need to keep an eye on I guess to see why it is leaking. Thanks again!
