Alarm sounds

And the motor shuts gown to no power and can restart and the takes off. Sometimes I have to repeat the restart several time before it will run

Not an OB guy, but those that are will need to know what your working on. Assuming its a Merc or Mariner but that's about it so far

Definitely need more information. Type of alarm? Solid? Intermittent? Engine? Serial number?
