If the fuel has "oxygenates" (alcohol, whether methyl or ethyl) in it, it MUST be posted on the pump. There is a VERY stiff fine for fuel providers that sell fuel other than what they are advertising.<br /><br />By law, there can be no more than 10% oxygenate in a fuel and still be advertised as regular or standard. Even at 10%, it must be noted on the pump.
