SO I have my mounts maxed out to the tallest setting, and I am still scraping the bottom of my alignment tool. What would cause this? Maybe I will put a spacer in, is that typical? Also, I am sure I the rear mounts back right with the firbers and washers. Could I remove one of the fieberwashers to lower the rear end nstead of raise the front.

Ayuh,... I don't remember yer details of how ya got here,...
But,...
If the rear mounts are installed properly,...
NO,... Don't remove Any of the pieces...

On a virgin install, ya it's not uncommon to shim the front mounts with blocks of wood....

Sinking engine mounts maybe? Usually caused by structural rot...

Do the lag bolts screwed into the wood actually bite wood when you try to tighten them with a wrench? Or do they just go roundy-round?

In your previous post about this problem you mentioned this was an OMC converted to Bravo. And that someone has already added 3 inches of shim blocks I think... But you never did tell anyone the year of your boat, or the year/model of OMC that was pulled, or the year/model of the Bravo that was put in...

But your boat is far from "typical" and that makes it difficult for anyone to answer your question without all that information.

Re: Alignment problem.

got her in an bolted up. Problem was the ol coupler, PO had ruined it with thier bad alignment. IT was an SOB to get off, after 4 or 5 attempts t get it on I stuck my hand in the coupler to pull out alot of metal shreddings. I had an alpha coupler (triangle kind) laying around, I bolted it up and she slipped right in. Then it started to rain. SO I will finish it up tomorrow.
