Last June with lake Mead down and the ramps muddy I sucked a bunch of mud into the intake. This revalation occured after the block had cracked down the intake valley. What a sad sad sad day.<br />Well now it a new year and the ol'268 has a brand new rebuilt big block with forged pistons and a comp cam. She's putting out about 370hp and running cool. We lake tested her the other day, oh so nice to be on the lake in january. In three hours we saw no boats, it is kind of nice having the largest man made lake in north america all to ones self.<br />Anyway, I've gotten lots of break in advice from the mech. and the cronies, but I thought I'd get some input from the web. My wife has informed me that I get one motor in this lifetime so I better make it last!!!<br />Thanks in advance for any insight
