Well the insurance companies surveyor found additional damage that the repair yard missed on first inspection so I had to wait for revised estimates and surveyors reports. But the insurance company ok'ed the repairs friday (which is a good thing since I had the boat yard start Thursday) and I will hopefully get my boat back before our planned trip to the San Juans for spring break. So for interested parties Boat US was excellent to work with and I will need to wait until October to find out if they raise my rates or not.

hooray the boat is done the travel lift is scheduled to put it back in the water at 10AM so I will post the after pics tomorrow.

I'm glad for you, really must have been a few sleepless nights involved. Only someone with a boat can understand, it's almost like a child hurt or sick.

Wow Slasmith all that within 12 or 13 days. That must be a record. Congratulations and hope everything was repaired to your satisfaction. Like stated it sure could have been a lot worse and the whole process drug out much longer.

On a much lighter note my kids asked me why they don't have sea lumberjacks>

as promised here are the after pics. I also had them remove the boot stripes and raise the water line of the bottom paint i think it looks alot cleaner all white without the stripes.

It looks Great. Good as new. They did a very good job. The response time was extremely fast. You should be very happy with everyone involved. Is that Gear oil dripping off the lower unit?

no it's water dripping off the swim platform it has been raining all morning but it was still a fun ride home on the water (with no log impacts)

They are called an aqua logger I think.
