Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush, The Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, The Police, Man, the list goes on and on for me! Sorry y'all, I'd better quit!
Tough to choose - I like all kinds of bands for all kinds of different reasons. Based purely on qty of stuff I have, I'd have to say Yes (vinyl, CD, VHS, DVD & concert ticket stubs is at least 3x anybody else). VH & Boston close 2nd & 3rd.
Pink Floyd for a number of reasons. I really like the music myself, but it is also something I share with my dad. Last month I took him to the Roger Waters Dark Side of the Moon concert.................it was the best concert I have seen and was one of his favorites too. He sold his tickets to a show here in 73' and still regrets it.

I've got a 17 yr old who lives, breath's, lives and plays Floyd! His mother (my ex) likes C&W but I made sure he never did! *lol* Last time I looked on the computer he had 15000 MP3's all the greats, Van Halen, Kiss, you name it!
Classic rock... Floyd, 2066, Steppenwolf, and I am starting to tire of Zepp. Heard them for too long overplayed on the air...
I just learned that my metal I like... Judas... Iron Maiden... Megadeth... They're OLDIES NOW. Thanks to my son for letting me know. Here i was thinking I was still hip...
I'm not a fan of new rock but did like the 90s for Soundgarden and STP. GNR always a fav. And Velvet revolver is good now.
Man you guys are realy dateing your selves. I listen to every thing from John Prine to Insane Clown Posse and Twizted. Right now Nickle Back is what I like the most but I do like groups like 3 doors down, 12 Stones, Hinder. Just about anything new if it rocks hard. Helps keep me young. I heard all the old stuff when it was new. Don't like being stuck in the past. Right now I have over 7,000 songs on my computer with 7.something suround sound and 7 speakers, right now. IF ITS TO LOUD YOU ARE TO OLD!!! I can all most vibrate the house { and yes I've blown a few speakers out,,,got one now the speaker sticks in the magnet and you have to give it a little love tap from time to time }. If I had my way and the money to do it you'd be able to hear it 1/2 a mile away. About the only thing I don't care for is country and gangster rap but I love Kid Rock { at least before he got married }....ANIMAL
Floyd here. They have been my favorite since Junior high. Heck, who could ever get sick of The album "Wish You Were here".
I don't have as much music on the computer as you. I only rip CDs. I have not purchased anything on line. About 5,000 songs here.
Plus a bunch of audio books that I listen to during my 2 hour a day commute. I have ripped a bunch of my taped audio books to the computer to load on my iPod.
Bought some, got some from friends and got some from shareing programs like Ares { its free online }. Lets you down load music,vidios,and soft ware from other peoples computers and they can down load from yours if its in the one file. Can find just about any song you want, old or new, just might take a while to get it but it works....ANIMAL
