Allen wrench size??

Anyone know size hex nut under the anode? The one revealed when anode is removed....hidden hex and this one are not same..

On a Alpha 1 its 5/16 ths on a Alpha GEN II its a 9/16 ths bolt but not knowing what it is your working on its just a guess
