Can someone tell me where I can go and see a instructional movie that shows how to take apart and allign the outdrive. I have the manual and pics but some pics dont detail as much as I would like to see. 2008 glastron volvo penta 5.0 sx. I know I need to purchase a allignment tool. I just need the step by step detail HELP

Yepp I am finding it difficult to find a utube display or a movie as such to describe in detail of what I am looking for. I know there should be a video to show step by step of how to take out the outdrive. I have the manual and it tells how to and shows some of the detail but not enough to where I feel confident of doing it. I am mechanically inclined on autos and small and large block chevys but, this is another animal. There is shifter linkage and other small details I would like to be sure of. Any help would be appreciated. thanks Stan

You aren't going to find one for the SXA drives, they just came out in 2007.
Here's a link to the OEM service manual for your drive, it will tell you how to remove and reinstall the drive.

Do it yourself project. Where can I get the dememsions to make a allignment tool for 2008 volvo penta outdrive. I work in a machine shop and can make it ....Ideas??
