Re: Almost got the big bullet

Boss told me today how they will determine when to bring back the other guy laid off. He whipped his computer into action and I was dazzeled by the array of statistical figures that he goes by. You see our company has a history of living by fancy colored graph charts and unrealalistic expectations for our sales dogs. The ability to change numbers to make the terminal look good has caused many to slide off the slippery seat when the auditors caught on. Oh, he said his computer said Feb. 6th and the other guy will be back. His computer told him that. Wow in the meantime we'll lose customers because we can't pickup/deliever their freight on time. The lastest thing is to call up the customer and ask if we can p/u their freight tomorrow, yeah, why do you think they called us today.

And no I don't think people in WI are stupid, ignorant of what's going on or more than likely it's their attention span. The recent sentencing of ex state senator Burke on 2 felony charges the other day is long forgotten. People only care that Da Pack is playing on Sunday or Desperate Housewives is on Da tube, They gots a 12 pack in the fridge and $20 in their wallet. In my campaign for Assembly last year I'd say 13% tops had a clue as to how bad their government was screwing them.

Wildbill, EE and PJC, I'm in Cincinnati, so while what is going on there may not directly effect me(notice the word directly) what happens anywhere in this counrty effects all of us. Why not say a few words about what is going on there...on here, or for that matter on other websites. My point is, if you have something to say about your area, and cannot find a traditional outlet, why not use the internet ? This would not be the first time that someone used this forum to say something about politics. As stated earlier, I'm in Ohio and am still interested in what is happening in your state. We all get excited when we hear talk about gas tax bills.

Good point... I retract my earlier statements... WB is right... its ignorance, I see what you were saying now PJC... it isn't stupidity.
