well...thats definitely not OEM parts for that price

and unless you have the special tools and knowledge to rebuild the upper, its gonna be a challenge for you

you would be better off buying a new/reman with a warranty
I'm with Dubs, unless you know how to set all the shims/bearings etc to exact limits and have the right tools ur probably doing more damage than good and end up doing the job againin 12months. Thats why I bought a new outdrive as I looked around and got one at a good price.

Add me to that list too... Experience and the right tools, or get someone else (qualified and with the tools) to do it, or buy an SEI....

I want to thank you guys here for all the advise. It made us look at all possibilities. I had an old friend that came to watch the game last night. His brother does that kind of work. He said he will do it for a good price as long as I come be a hand for him. I think that's a great deal. Wife is also liking the fact that the OEM's will have warranties. So either way we will be fixing...
