Alpha 1 Gen 1 Lower Swivel Pin Lube

Hi Everyone! I am completing my winteriziation and have run into a question. I have a 1988 4.3 LX with a Gen 1 Alpha 1 drive and even have the original maintenance manual for it. The manual calls for lubing the upper and lower swivel pins along with others. There is a grease fitting for the upper swivel pin, the hinge pins, and the gimble bearing but I cannot find one for the lower swivel pin. Can any one help?<br /><br />John

It's There......<br />Look Very Low + to the starboard side of the joint.......

Hello<br /> I think by 1988 the lower swivel pin had been redesignd and the grease fitting removed.<br /> good luck and keep posting

Let the outdrive DOWN and like bondo said, look on the starboard side. (same side you keep your beer on) It'll be steering you right in the face.<br /><br />That's considering you have the style that HAS a grease fitting there.
