Alpha 1 Gen 2 Water Leak?

Is water supposed to come out the hole in this pic? I just rebuilt the water pump and It appears to be flowing out there pretty good on muffs. I also think there might be a slight trace of oil in the water but it might be just washing out of somewhere.

Is there a diagram showing the name of the hole somewhere?

Service Manual # 14 - Up at the top of the posts in the adults only section.
That is the gear housing water drain hole.

Water comes out of that hole on mine. It is not a leak. Put it this way, it is an open hole, the entire outdrive goes underwater anyways, so it is bound to get water in there.

I get that as well and it feels about like bath water when coming out.

Thanks guys. I knew it was an open hole to raw water but wasn't sure if water was supposed to flow out on the muffs is all.
