Alpha 1 Gen + vs Alpha 1 gen II. The same thing??

Quick questions because I am getting some conflicting info while browsing some parts. Are the Alpha One gen + and Gen II the same thing just a little different terms? BTW thanks to all for the great info on the site.

The Gen+ is referring to the engine, not the outdrive. The 91 thru 09 Alpha outdrives are Gen II.
