Haven't touched the outdrive in 22 years other than oil and bellows. Took it off last year to paint and had it resealed this spring. Have about 2-3 hours on it and today it has a serious grinding whirring noise when running, does it in gear and neutral. Had boat towed in 8 miles from lake to be safe.
Will have the mechanic pull it and see, but any ideas from you guys?
