Alpha 1 ID?

How do I know which outdrive I have on my boat?
I recently bought a 1993 Bluefin Spectrum 19.5 foot with a 4.3 and a Mercuriser Alpha 1.
I have heard of early and late Alpha 1 drives, how do I know which one I have?

It should be an Alpha I Gen II.
The Gen II drives started in 91
