Alpha 1 shifting issues

So I went out with my boat and my engagement was good for both forward and reverse and back into neutral, we pulled boat for the week and went to put it in the water yesterday and now when I go to engage forward the throttles revs before the drive goes into foward, reverse works fine still, any thought on what I should check, I will be double checking cable adjustment today but boat is in the water so may be a bit difficult, thanks for any insight

Try the shift without the engine running. If it moves ok, go through shifter adjustment procedure. There are a few good tutorials on youtube. I like the one at sterndrive engineering's webpage. I bet Achris has one too.

I believe I have it figured out took the boat for a nice splashed and shifted good! Re did the adjustment followed it to the book and works good
