I have a 95 bayliner capri 3.0 with an alpha 1 Gen 2 drive. Question concerns my speedo quit working. I unhooked the rubber hose that hooks to the drive, blew compressed air thru the hose to the guage, hose is clear. Also applied a little air pressure to the guage and it also works. I'm assuming my problem is inside the drive or a vent or hole whatever supplies air or pressure from the drive to the guage,,, where does this speedo fitting on my lower drive go to?? I tried blowing a little air thru it but the angle is bad and about impossible to get to.. I've looked at every vent hole etc on the drive and they all appear to be clear.. Any ideas?? Thanks.
