im finishing up replacing my gimbal bearing, bellows, and lower shift cable on a 86' alpha 1 gen 1. i did not follow the most simple and cheapest direction. i did not tie my limit switches out of the way just pushed them to the side. while i was turning the drive from side to side i pinched and cracked the white disk in the starboard side. i know this is just for the gauge so im not going to spend $100 to replace and wait for a week for it to come in. is there anyway i can just replace the white disk if i find an old drive with a working sending unit?

and if the answer is yes, does anyone know of a good salvage yard or have and old starboard side limit? im right off lake erie in PA.

For the trim sender it is an available merc part. I'm to lazy to look up the part # for you.
