Alpha 1 trim

How high/out is too high? I can run mine high enough to even hit the trailer button a little to get even higher(I have done it once only) without cavitating. I do however run the trim pretty hight to get maximum speed. Is it hard on my gimbal bearing or u-joint to do this? Any info or comments are greatly appreciated, Thanx!

Ayuh,... If you're using the trailer button, your in the range for accelerated wear, or Damage,...

So Not getting into the trailer button means that I'm not adding any wear? I only did it once just to see where it cavitates. This boat,outdrive and prop combo just does not cavitate.

Get yourself a hydrofoil, smart tabs or trim tabs. You'll be amazed.
