Alpha Gen II upper reseal

So I've got a slow leak ( 5 psi over 12 hours, from 10 to 5) in the upper of our alpha one gen 2 where the lower driveshaft enters the upper housing. At first I thought it was just normal pressure drop over the 12 hours but if I put the drive upside down, pressurize it, and spray water on the vertical drive shaft I can hear the hissing and bubbling when the shaft is turned to certain points in its rotation.

Anyways, I think it's fair to say I need a reseal. I don't want to do it myself, what would you expect the cost to be? (or hours, I know rates vary depending on location)

The lower is two seasons old and has been tested on its own. It does not leak.

upstate NY. Local mech that I normally use and trust just quoted me $250

If thats with you dropping everything off , doing the repair(removing the inputshaft , top cap and vert shaft,changing 2 seals, assembly, pressure testing and refilling with oil) then its close if its parts and labor,

It is, all parts and labor and I dropped the drive off. I just dropped it to him today.

I decided to do it myself when the only 'local' dealer, 75 miles away, quoted $400 when I asked how much if I dropped off the upper. Cost me a lot less even though I had to purchase a torque wrench that could accurately read those low low rolling torque values.
