How difficult is it to replace the intermediate shift rod in an Alpha one while replacing the water pump? This is the stern shift rod that mates with the shift rod in the bell housing.
Dead easy! Once the leg is split, just pull the split pin and the shaft comes straight out.<br />I assume we are talking about item #22 in the pic....<br /><br />
