Re: alpha one drive oil

The outdrive is a raw water cooled alpha one. I am not too happy with the raw water cooled, we purchased the boat from some friends this year for 5k! The boat is a 24ft chaparrel, the motor just had 3k worth of work done to it last year, I was not able to get a receipt from the owner!

The only oil recommended by Mercury is Quicksilver High-Performance Gear Oil.....

High torque engine in a heavy boat.... You want all the protection you can get....
