Re: Alpha One drive

It could be the prop, the prop shaft bent, the ujoints failing, bad gimbal bearing. Time to get it all checked before it costs you a complete drive.

Re: Alpha One drive

You need to provide as much detail as possible. When did you first notice the vibration. Have you hit anything? What prop are you using? Does the vibration get better or worse when you turn? Are you trimmed down all the way? I honestly couldn't tell you anything about your outdrive, I can tell you that my rig has no vibration at any speed.

Re: Alpha One drive

It could be bent shaft from impact but more common / likely is either gimbal bearing or ujoints that need replacement.
Do you have water in bellows?

Ignore the poster that has one word response as it is neither helpful or conducive to this forum.

Put the prop on it, make sure it's in neutral, spin the prop. If it's bad enough to cause vibration, you'll see it. The end of the shaft has a divot in it. That should stay centered as the prop spins.
