Alpha One Gear Oil Condition- Picture Attached

Hello! Doing the gear oil today, 1st time (for me:) Does this stuff look ok in terms of water / no water ?

Hard to tell in that picture, but milky oil indicates water, and that looks milky to me.

Do a crackle test...

Tablespoon of the oil, small flame under it... If it pops and crackles, it's got water in it...

Yes I will try the test and thank you all for your replies! Don, the first pic may not have done justice as that pan was not clean. Here is a pic from a catch of the fluid in a plastic cup.......looks used and dark but milky? Will get the test done asap!
