Alpha one Gen 2 Impeller Direction

This is backwards is it not? Marina replaced impeller last fall and when I just took it apart this is how it was.

How would that work all summer?

it`s reversed,holding the housing in your right hand you install and twist CCW pushing the impeller in with your left hand

I've always been told they'll flip themselves the correct direction once they get into higher RPMs. Obviously that isn't always the case.

For Gen 2s, I heard that they can flip themselves in the 'wrong' direction when the motor is shutting down... I think I may have read that in something @achris posted some time ago.

I think for Gen 2s, it's much easier for the vanes to flip around than on the first gen of Alpha Ones.
