Alpha One Gen II outdrive oil change - easy question?

So, changed the outdrive oil by pumping up from the lower screw hole till it poured out the top one, closed both up and added to the reservoir from the lid...
I read hear http://www.mercstuff.com/driveoil.htm that i should have closed the top screw and have kept pumping till the reservoir filled up...
Should i be alright how i've done it or do i need to drain and re-fill with that last minor step

All you normally need to do is pump the oil in the bottom screw after you put in the upperone, only enough to pump a little into the reservoir and bleed the line out a bit. Then top off the rest at the reservoir itself.
No need to worry about the way you did it, when you take it out and run it, it will burp the air out of the line and you may have to top off the reservoir. No need to redo things.
