alpha one housing value

I have a used alpha one housing, I am going to sell. I was wondering what it might be worth? Does anybody know how to identify it for sure, I mean to tell if it is genuine mercruiser or aftermarket. I know it is an alpha one generation 1. Is there a part number stamped on it somewhere? It is in excellent shape, even the skeg.<br /><br />Thanks <br /><br />DougV>

I sold a gen 2 today for $300. for a case. Usually the older ones go for $100- $200 depending on condition. Doesnt really matter if it is a aftermarket case. If its a merc. case it usually has #3302-###### raised casting # above the trim tab.
