alpha one leg removal

Hi all. Was wondering if anyone knew if removing the leg of an alpha one gen one to check exhaust outlet and grease the CV joint was a simple as removing the rams and 6 nuts and pulling it apart? I've done this and the joint has seperated a good 3/4" but has gone a little tight and i was afraid to force it using levers incase other things were still holding it on. Thanks

Make sure the shift is in forward or not only will it not come off, but you will bend the intermediate shift lever.

Probably ought to push it back on until its mated prior to shifting it into forward, again so you dont bend anything...
