i just bought a lower unit for my alpha one outdrive. When i got it and looked at it it is a pre alpha lower unit. Will this work on my alpha upper? do i need to make any modifications?
Yea, don't buy parts unless you know they will fit!<br /><br />Got any good information as to the year and model of your drive, and the year and model of the lower you just purchaced?
Pre-Alpha takes in drives from the early 60's to around 83, and there are a lot of them.<br />What you have is impossible for anyone here to say without looking at it and finding some identifying points.
