Yesterday myself and a friend were trying to adjust the trim limit and sender on my 1993 Mercruiser Alpha one gen 2. My problem is that the trailer button which is supposed to bring both drives ( yes, I have twin motors) up instead is only lowering the drives ( definitely wrong). What could be wrong ? any ideas?
Thanks Guys!

Thanks for the answer: Just last week I had the second "mechanic" looking at the problem( now both drives work on the controls, bu. the trailer switch does not work. That mechanic told me that I should have the harness replaced: The only problem is when asked for the part# he does not know and he asked me to get the "model and serial number" and with those numbers, go to a Mercruiser dealer and ask for the harness; I did' and no dealer knows what to tell me based on those numbers. So, I do not know what to do, my mind is telling me to forget abouyt the limiter and the trailer switch and use only the switches on the control ,to raise and/or lower the drives.. What do you guys think?
