ok I just removed the lower and took apart the water pump assembly. My question is do I have to use the 2-4-c lube for reassembly or could I just use ordinary wheel bearing grease? Thanks!

You're talking about lubing the impeller for first ("dry") startup.
You can use Dawn dishwashing detergent if you like or vegetable oil..... It doesn't matter. After the first few min of running it'll all be washed out regardless of what you use.
Volvo packs a little tube of glycerin in thier kits, We just use a shot of silicon spray. Remember to turn the shaft clockwise from the top to properly set the vanes.
