Re: Alternator froze up! Any electrical gurus in the house?
I'm sure y'all have differing opinions, but when I buy on Ebay, the only warranty I'm concerned with is that the product ships as described and works on intial installation. The price descrepency as you have noted Homer is often horendous. To me, if long term warranty is an issue, I buy from a retail source that I trust to be there if and when a warranty issue comes up. But if cost is part of the equation, I take everything into consideration. Warranty costs to the retailer or manufacturer are ALWAYS built in to the price of the product.

I would think a water pump should be a fairly safe purchase. My .02 worth anyway.
