Alternator on 2005 F8?

How do I tell if my (approximately) 2005 F8 has an alternator or not? I cannot find what would appear to be any means of tapping into a power discharge circuit. In my searches, I've seen info that implied it should have an alternator. On my Honda (2000 8HP), it has a covered plug that you just bought the connector and wired it in but I don't see anything like that on my Yammy.

No 8hp motor has an alternator. They usually have a stator and a rectifier. If it is electric start, your charging goes through the battery leads.
