I have an 83 Alumacraft T14XL. The previous owner has removed some of the hull decals and must have removed some of the decal adheasive using sand paper causing two small areas (8"x12") that the finish has been stripped off. I believe the hull is anodized, is there a product that I could use to repair this damage? Thanks, Bill

Send an email to: warranty@alumacraft.com

Attn: Sue Prax

And ask her what can be done

Thanks Sunfish, I did get ahold of Sue Prax. She mentioned that they did not Anodize their hulls in 1983 and that it probably has some sort of a clear coat finish.

Sounds like an "off clear" satin clear coat might be just the ticket to bring her back into compliance with the rest of the finish....

great news !!!
