Alumaspray vs Trilux antifouling paint?

My OMC Cobra has been painted with the tin based Pettit Alumaspray in past seasons and although I can still get it for now, I was wondering if it might be better to start using the Trilux for aluminum which requires removing all the Alumaspray and using their Primocon barrier coat then topcoating with Trilux. Better to stick with what has been used, or switch to what everyone will be using in a few years anyway?
Anyone try the Trilux on an outdrive?
My only concern is that it does have a form of copper in it but the barrier coat is supposed to insulate the copper from the aluminum.

If you are in Long Island Compass Rose Marine on Mill Dam Rd in Huntington near the marina has it.
It is a TBT paint so it is one of those that is no longer made, but some yards may still apply it.

Hello
I have been using Trilux 33 anti fouling on a small piece of my skeg and part of my outboard that doesn't completely clear the water.
I have been doing this 3 years, it is 55$ a qt but works very well.
Capt Crunch
