A heater, what do you need that for, it's almost summer up there.

Glad to hear it's an easy one for ya.

in the early months......and late months of the season.....as soon as the sun goes down....it can get chilly fast.

the temp stays close... but u loose the direct heat of the sun on your skin.....it is not uncommon for a person to start shivering if they are a little damp...

the heater is a fantastic device for this.....really... i strongly suggest ANY ONE to install one. just make sure you pour antifreeze thru it on winterisation....lol

btw ... this is such a great accesory,,,,, that i an adding heated seats to the boat.
between the two......no more shivers ... no more towels around the shoulders.......just toasty warm

I doubt a heater would do much good in my Mariner, unless I rigged a full enclosure.

Heated seats, now your talking. We went out tonight, grilled out and watched the sunset. Wife and daughter acted like it was 40 out not 70.

Re: aluminium heater core repair.

Glad to here you got it fixed.
Our friend in Sicamous had the factory option heater installed when he got his bayliner, and since it is part of the enclosed engine system no issues when winterizing.
This guy fishes from ice off to ice on the lake!
(I would look at doing a enclosed loop if the engines were newer, but I think that I will just loop the hotwater tanks lines and mount the heater at the bottom of the stairs on the old sundancer)
