Aluminum anodes for Iron Exhaust Manifold, BBC raw water cooled

I have seen pencil anodes for aluminum exhaust manifolds, and it seems the cast iron manifolds have provisions for these anodes. The only place I have seen the actual anodes was in the GLM catalog alongside the aluminum BBC manifolds.

Has anybody successfully used aluminum pencel anodes in a cast iron exhaust manifold? Does it prolong the life of the manifold ?

Ayuh,... I kinda doubt it...
You're trying to deal with 2 Very different issues with the same bandaid...
Anodes have NOTHING to do with Rusting...
